Mail Merge - Header Footer print with <<mergefiled>> instead of data

I created a mail merge with merge fields in the header body and footer of my document.

When complete the merge the data looks fine in my document i.e. all merged fields properly rendered.

As soon as I try to print or save a PDF the document header and footer merge fields change to the unmerged format i.e. <<Mergefield1>>

Does anyone have a workaround or solution for this problem?

Hello!

The same/similar problem is observed.

The merge field is inside the header as well as footer.

after the export/print to PDF, the feid name instead of value is displayed.

How an operation changes/ toggles from value to field name?

Please Suggest a way to come past the print to PDF to retain the value in the header/ footer section.
